What To Expect In Your First Visit?

The first comprehensive visit package usually lasts for 75 - 90 minutes. It includes both the consultation and acupuncture treatment.

During the initial consultation, your case manager will ask you about your symptoms, your and your family's medical history, habits, etc. Then your acupuncturist will perform a Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) diagnosis (including tongue, pulse and facial evaluation). Based on the information gathered in the consultation and the Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis, your acupuncturist will determine the root causes of your complaints and how to tackle it. You will also be informed about your treatment plan, e.g.: the frequency, the length and the number of acupuncture sessions needed for reaching optimal health, the expected outcomes, etc.

During the acupuncture session, your acupuncturist will insert needles on specific acupuncture points that address your problems. The acupuncture points are not necessarily always located at the area of complaints.

In order to improve your health, you will also receive the followinig health accelerator benefits:
  • Complimentary personal Qi-Gong teaching that may improve your health with more energy, balance and relaxation.
  • "Better food" diet consultation that utilizes the Yin and Yang principles of Chinese Medicine
  • Qi Gong Tui-Na massage (Similar to acupressure) that may relieve your pain right away
  • Moving Cupping (a more advanced technique) that offers relaxation and relief to deeper muscles and tissues, plus more.
